XSEO Coefficient Report Explained

If you knew exactly what your competitors had done to get their listings, how much easier would it be to optimise your site.

How does the report work?
A Coefficient report examines the key elements that influence Google.
What it does is to analyse the top performers in Googles top 30 for your search term. The coefficients values given to the results are identified as "Link" and "Content". The lower these numbers the better.

So how does that help?
You will notice that the top 10 sites, listed below, in a search for "health insurance", all have a strong "Content Coef". They also have a strong "Link Coef". Compare this with the results of www.*******.co.uk (Client site) at the bottom of the list, which has an average listing for Links but is being let down by content.

Prior to this information the webmaster could be focussed entirely on link building, when in fact it is the on-site optimisation that is letting him down.
