XSEO has made it's mark as one of the leading SEM (Search Engine Marketing) agencies not just in it's home market of the UK. It is dedicated to keeping up with the advancements in "search" and migrating the technology to a clients internet presence.

XSEO was set up in 2002 by its principal directors, Matt Paines and Jem Shaw. Since then it has enjoyed an unbroken top-five position worldwide in all three main search engines (Google, Yahoo and MSN) for its prime search term targets. The company is part of a Staffordshire-based group of marketing communication companies. This means that, apart from its proven Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) performance, it is in a position to provide detailed, experienced expertise on overall marketing issues.

Not only does XSEO manage optimisation and pay per click projects, we speak at local and national level on the subject of search engine optimisation, we also run training courses and seminars.

We provide detailed analysis and research to many organisations with internal development teams. The XSEO team have worked on some very significant projects, including Virgin Cars, Innkeepers Lodge, Ceridian, Reflex, Black box and Virgin Holidays to list only a few.

In 2004 Microsoft decided introduce its own search engine to rival Google and Yahoo, to do this they decided to put a team together of SEO's, Academics and Power Users. XSEO's MD, Matt Paines, was one of 28 participants, only 8 were SEO's invited globally to participate; Matt was the only SEO from the UK. Microsoft flew the members of the "Search Engine Champs" team over to Redmond, Seattle. The Search Champs now meet on a regular basis at Redmond and continue to be part of MSN's external team.

Because of the in-depth subject knowledge and expertise XSEO has established, the company is now being requested to provide research and expertise as an expert witness in Internet Marketing related legal cases.

XSEO is a privately owned limited company.

From 11 Sept 2006 we are now located to recently restored offices at St. Albans House. It may not have the culture of the Forge Bellows, it was constructed in the late 60's as opposed to the 1800's, but what it looses in style it more than makes up for in accommodation.

By Car:- Junction 14 M6 Stafford North. Follow signs for A34 to FIRST roundabout, straight across on A513 Beacon side, take 3rd RIGHT onto Common Road, pass Bostic / Evode factory, second LEFT onto St. Albans Rd (by NTL). Follow St. Albans Rd, just BEFORE LEFT bend on the RIGHT ST. ALBANS HOUSE.

By Train:- West Coast Main Line to Stafford Station. We are approx. 3 miles from station.
